Ashley + Casey's Ponte Winery Wedding
You’ve probably already seen the gorgeous Ashley grace the pages of my blog in my ever popular Milk Bath Magic tutorial. Well, that’s because I’m not the best at blogging things in order (nor on time). The first step is admitting you have a problem, right?!
So today we are gonna throw it back to last year when Ashley and Casey tied the knot on a perfect spring day at Ponte Winery. And this post comes just in time for their 1st wedding anniversary that’s coming up this weekend! WOOOO!!! (nailed it.)
The day started in the cute little cottages on the property where hair and make-up was done, the guys hung out, and the girls sipped on mimosas. Ashley was surrounded with so much love from her girls and her mother and in-law’s to be, as well as her spunky boy Ace!! Isn’t he a spitting image of his daddy, Casey?? I’m pretty sure her heart was exploding with gratitude.
Once they wrestled Ace into his cute little ring bearer outfit, and kickin’ converse, Ashley jumped into her gown. She was STUNNING and her positivity was more radiant than ever. Ashley has an un-believable heart for serving and loving others and I find myself always looking forward to hearing from her. This became so apparent when she was surrounded by her bridesmaids as they all were just so excited to be a part of the day. Then comes the groomsmen. Handsome dudes dressed all in blue. We had a blast as they took pictures overlooking the property. They were surrounded with laughter and fun all day and I can’t imagine a more perfect wedding day.
Ashley and Casey opted for a first touch, which is similar to a first look, but obviously they don’t actually SEE each other before the ceremony. As they held hands and spoke sweet words of excitement to each other, you could just FEEL the love radiating from them both. I mean, they are already a family with little Ace, but making it OFFICIAL was just so exciting!
Their ceremony overlooked the endless vineyards in Temecula and the personal touches left so many people in tears. They read their own vows and had a unity ceremony with wine. YUM! The weather was perfect, with hardly a cloud in the sky. After the ceremony we took family and wedding party photos and then it was time for the bride and groom portraits!! We wandered the beautiful, idyllic Ponte property and snuck over to the barrel room for some photos before it opened for the reception. Then it was time to get the party started!!
