Welcome to Jen and Kevin's wedding blog post. First, let me just say that they are wedding planning rockstars! They planned this whole amazing day from Alaska. I know, right?! Well, they happen to live there for the time being, and their family lives here in Cali...only made sense to tie the knot here!

Jen and Kevin were married on August 5th, 2016 at the Pacific Views Event Center in Oceanside at Camp Pendleton. Don't worry, if you want to book it, it's open to the public too!

Jen and Kevin opted for a first look before their ceremony. We were able to spend a perfect amount of time capturing some beautiful portraits. I really love first looks for a lot of reasons, but mostly I love all the excitement and emotion that goes along with the big reveal!

Their ceremony was officiated by Jen's uncle, surrounded by their closest family and friends. With sweeping views of the ocean behind them they said their "I do's" as the sun was slowly setting behind them.

With just a short window of time before the reception we headed down to the beach for some post ceremony portraits. Jen made sure to let me know well in advance this was something she REALLY wanted on her big day, so we made it happen! I couldn't have planned for more perfect timing with the gorgeous sunset light.

Jen had planned to surprise Kevin with a wedding gift. A hula dance in his honor! He was definitely surprised as he was lead to a lone chair on the dance floor, and watched Jen's performance with loving attention.
